Setting Goals

Do you plan in life for those things which you want to attain OR do you sit by and wish for them to happen?  So many people make this mistake and they don’t realize this……….. If you fail to plan you plan to fail!    Profound~~~I know.  Sit with that for just a moment.

Take steps to begin to plan out every aspect of your life.  Write down your goals and aspirations.  Keeping them in a place that you will see everyday.  Goal planning doesn’t have to be this long list of things hoped for you can start off with baby steps.  Make a list of small things and give yourself a deadline to finish them.  Nothing has to be set in stone. You can write in pencil if that makes you feel better.  Working towards your goals is success in and of itself.  If you get to your deadline and you haven’t accomplished what you wanted then just stretch out your deadline, but never, ever give up.  Setting goals lends an opportunity for you to plan to be successful in whatever it is you are reaching for.  You can do monthly goals or yearly goals it’s all up to you.

You want to keep your goals posted around you in eyes view to keep you on track of knowing that you have finally began to add value to your life in a way you haven’t before.  Every step you take is a step in the direction of your hearts desires.  The best advice to ensure success even in small steps is Put blinders on!  Don’t allow the negativity of those who haven’t gotten their life together to rain on your parade. LOL!  Remember- Misery loves company.   If you have a spouse of significant other and in some cases children include them in on your goal planing.   Make them aware of what you are trying to accomplish so they can help you be responsible for reaching them.  Team work makes the Dream work!

Starting this Month-December My monthly goal is to:

  • Expose as many folks to my business/product as possible.
  • Add a new Distributor or Customer a week.
  • Get at least 4 pre enrolles a week.
  • Market my product to my local gym and/or  health food store .

It’s just that simple to get started.  It’s up to me to put in the work towards making those goals a reality however,  If at the end of the month I don’t accomplish one or more I will simply stretch out my deadline.                                           Never, Ever giving up!

I hope this gives you some ideas on setting goals for yourself and why it’s important.  Goal setting doesn’t have to be about your career.  It could be as simple as setting  a goal to purchase a car that you would love to have.

Great post Tamara, thanks for sharing and helping me to put things in perspective. I’ve had to learn to set realistic goals as not to create a sense of disappointment for myself. This is great stuff!
